Your subscription is based on the number of active users (employees) on your account. You’ll want to have enough users to correspond with the average number of new employees you hire each month.

Courses vary in length. Our Course 101 takes approximately 4 hours to complete.  Course 201 takes approximately 5 hours to complete. Course 301 takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete. Course 401 takes approximately 3 hours to complete. Course 501 takes approximately 5 hours to complete. 

Our Dog Handler to Day Trainer standalone course takes approximately 3 hours to complete plus the time to record and submit the training videos required to pass the course.

Plans are paid monthly via credit card or PayPal. You can upgrade or cancel your membership at any time.

We have discounts for organizations with multiple locations. Contact us if you have questions or need assistance!

Yes, you are welcome to cancel at any time. You can also upgrade your plan selection as your business grows. Contact us if you need assistance or need to change your plan.

Yes, you can add an employee to your team on your Facility Dashboard and then choose to “Assign as Team Leader.” This will allow them to access the Facility Dashboard, view employees’ progress, and add/remove employees from the team. Team leaders cannot cancel or change your membership account.

Dog Handler Academy sends you automated emails whenever an employee completes a course. You’ll also receive automated emails you if an employee has not completed a course within 1, 2, or 3 weeks of receiving access to the course. 

You also view track your employees’ progress at any time on your Facility Dashboard. This shows the percentage they have completed as well as their individual quiz scores.

No! All of the quizzes are online and graded for you, so there’s no printing quizzes or grading quizzes. (The only thing you may wish to print out would be your employees’ course completion certificates for your records—or simply save the PDF instead of printing.)

Yes! They can rotate their phone and choose to maximize the video to view it full-screen on a mobile device. They can also view our courses on a tablet or computer.

We find it is best to have employees start at the beginning. It never hurts for employees to get a refresher course and this ensures consistent training and communication among your employees and supervisors.

We will send out an email whenever content is updated, so you can determine if existing staff needs to watch new or updated content modules. This is a great opportunity for you to use incentives for continuing education for your staff.

Yes! Our founder can assist with consulting regarding your business structure and engineering, design and layout, building and construction (the do’s, the don’ts, and the wish-I-wouldn’t-haves), adding training to your existing daycare program, and understanding your finances. Fill out our consulting request form and we can help you. 

Yes! We are constantly working to expand our course offerings, and we will notify all members as new courses and products are released.

Dog Handler Academy is an online academy, so there is no in-person training included in our membership program. We do, however, occasionally offer in-person seminars.
