How do I know which plan is right for me?
Your subscription is based on the number of active users (employees) on your account. You’ll want to have enough users to cover the number of employees who would be doing the online training program at one time within the month. You can replace users once employees complete their coursework (or if they leave your business) at any time.
Can I have more than one administrator?
Yes, however, keep in mind these individuals can make changes to your account, so choose wisely (typical administrators would be those in management and/or supervisor roles).
How long do the courses take?
Courses vary in length. Our Course 101 takes approximately 4 hours to complete. Course 201 will take approximately 5 hours to complete. Course 301 takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete. Course 401 takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Our Dog Handler to Day Trainer standalone course takes approximately 3 hours to complete plus the time to record and submit the training videos required to pass the course.
How do I know if my employees are making progress on the course?
Our program also automatically emails you and the employee whenever they pass a course! We’ll also email you AND the employee if they have NOT started a course within 1 week, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks of receiving access to a course to remind them to complete it.
You can also track your employees’ progress from your facility dashboard, which shows the percentage they have completed as well as their individual quiz scores.
How do I pay for my plan?
Plans are paid monthly via credit card or Pay Pal. You can upgrade or cancel your membership at any time. Contact us if you need assistance!
Can users access training on a phone? Can administrators log in on a phone?
Yes! Simply go to doghandleracademy.com in the browser on your phone, tap the menu on the top right, and go to LOGIN HERE. When watching training videos, turn your phone to landscape orientation for better viewing.
Can I cancel or upgrade my plan at any time?
Yes, you are welcome to cancel at any time.
You can also upgrade your plan selection as your business grows. Contact us to change your plan.
What if I have concerns about my internet speed?
If you have slow internet speed or connection issues, please contact us. We’re here to help!
If I already use another training program, how would I transition my staff to Dog Handler Academy?
We find it is best to have employees start at the beginning of our training even if you’ve used a previous program. It never hurts for employees to get a refresher course and this ensures consistent training and communication among your employees and supervisors.
Are there quizzes I have to print out or grade?
No! All of the quizzes are online and graded for you, so there’s no printing quizzes or grading quizzes. (The only thing you may wish to print out would be your employees’ course completion certificates for your records—or simply save the PDF instead of printing.)
How will I know if you update content?
We will send out an email whenever content is updated, so you can determine if existing staff needs to watch new or updated content modules. This is a great opportunity for you to use incentives for continuing education for your staff.
Who manages my account for adding and deleting users (employees)?
As the administrator, you have complete access to add or remove users (employees). Please note that if an employee leaves your business and starts work at a different business, they do NOT retain their training certificate from Dog Handler Academy.
I purchased a membership but have not received my login credentials. What do I do?
Check your junk/spam folder. If you still have not received your login within an hour, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Does Dog Handler Academy have a referral program?

Will Dog Handler Academy be offering more courses in the future?
Yes! We are constantly working to expand our course offerings, and we will notify all members as new courses and products are released.
Can I add my own facility-specific training videos, materials, and/or quiz questions to the course?
Yes! Please reach out to Dog Handler Academy for pricing and customized content options. We can help create a learning experience to best fit your team as well as your facility’s needs.
Do you offer dog business consulting services?
Yes! Our founder and owner Eve Molzhon can assist with consulting regarding your business plan, facility design and layout, building and construction (the do’s, the don’ts, and the wish-I-wouldn’t-haves), what services to offer in the space you have available, adding training to your existing daycare program, understanding your finances, and more. Where is Dog Handler Academy located?
Dog Handler Academy is an online academy, so there is no in-person training included in our program. We are based out of Wisconsin.
